District 6970 Foundation Committee Mission
The district's Foundation Committee supports each club’s initiatives from fund raising to project fulfillment. Each subcommittee addresses a special area and is manned by Rotarians who know the Foundation processes.
This special-purpose website serves as a resource of information and contacts to further enhance the mission of the District 6970 Foundation.
The Foundation mission is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world. Our Rotary Foundation is fuel for all the energy Rotarians worldwide have to “do good” in the world. Doin’ good has been the motto for the Foundation since its inception in 1917. |
![]() The purpose of the Future Vision Pilot is to test and refine modifications to the structure and programs of The Rotary Foundation. These changes are based upon lessons learned over the past century of service. The changes are designed to create more flexibility for clubs and districts, a greater focus on doing the most good, and accountability and sustainability of our efforts. As a leader in The Rotary Foundation, our club and district leadership elected to participate as one of 100 pilot districts. This website will help you to gain knowledge about the program changes under Future Vision. |
